# Activate Agent Profile

> Activate a profile by its stable ``id`` — pointer only.

Sets ``active_agent_profile_id`` and nothing else: unlike the LLM
``/activate``, this does **not** write ``agent_settings`` (the
creation-time-only contract). Returns 404 if no stored profile has that id.
